OneNote for Windows 10, however, doesn’t recognise Outlook and tries to get you to use Windows Mail or People (their contact lists).

Starting with WindUpdate, you can also launch it directly from your pen. You can launch OneNote by pressing the Win + Alt + N buttons on your keyboard or launch it via the icon on the system tray. Microsoft is also introducing a quicker way to access the OneNote app.
There is a downside, though, as the new OneNote app doesn’t feel as lightweight and touch-screen-friendly as the OneNote Windows 10 app. Using this, you will be able to share your notebooks and even manage who has access to them. You also get a simplified single-line ribbon, making the interface feel clutter-free. Speaking of the features on the new standalone OneNote app, you get both the inking and dictation features, perfect for the Galaxy Book lineup with an active S Pen stylus.
